The ECMDM5P from Sony is an Electret Condenser Microphone designed for use in meetings, presentations, and more. A uni-directional microphone, the ECMDM5P also has an adjustable angle, so you can point the microphone at the sound source, reducing unwanted background noise. A signal to noise ratio of more than 38 dB ensures that your recordings are clear and easy to understand, while a frequency response of 100 to 15,000 Hz combines with a 78 dB dynamic range to capture all the important elements of speech. The included windscreen further blocks unwanted noise, while the carrying case makes transporting the ECMDM5P easy. Small and unobtrusive, the ECMDM5P weighs just 0.7 ounces and has a diameter of just 0.4 inches.
